The Splash Boyz are competitive tournament-only basketball teams consisting of 5th, 6th, and 7th graders who join forces on a quest for greatness. Growth, teamwork, and sportsmanship make up part of our broad scope of purposes.
Our coaching staff provides a supportive environment for experienced players, in an untiring pursuit of excellence. If you qualify as a competitive player with prior experience, you are welcome to tryout!
As a former collegiate scholarship athletes, we understand the hard work and dedication required to play at a high level. Our goal is to help instill the values and work ethic it will take for young aspiring athletes to reach their full potential.
Head Coach
Dominic excelled at Silverado High School, where he led his team to a 29-3 record, setting a High Desert basketball record, and was runner-up in the CIF Division 1AA Championship. He earned d Defensive Player of the Year and was a 3-time All-Star team selection.
At Barstow College, Dominic was a First Team All-Conference selection, 2-time team captain, and led in 3-point and free-throw percentages.
He earned a full scholarship to the University of Jamestown, where he finished his playing career as a 2-time conference champion.
As a coach, Dominic is dedicated to instilling the life skills gained from basketball, such as teamwork, discipline, and leadership, in his youth-athletes.
Assistant Coach
Before moving to California, Andrew was a 3-sport athlete in the suburbs of Chicago, IL. He was a 3-year varsity basketball starter, going 61-19 over that stretch. He was a multi-year All-Conference and All-Area selection and was voted by the Chicago Times as the number one player you haven’t heard about.
Andrew went on to play college basketball and golf at North Central College, where he was voted best defensive player, two-time team captain, and second-team All-CCIW.
As a coach, Andrew promotes a strong work ethic, dedication, and group camaraderie.
